She will next be seen in AppleTV+’s ‘SHINING GIRLS’, a new series based on the 2013 best-selling novel by Lauren Beukes. Soo can currently be seen Hulu’s DOPESICK opposite Michael Keaton, Peter Sarsgaard and Kaitlyn Dever. Phillipa earned a 2021 Emmy Nomination in the category of “Supporting Actress, Limited Series, Movie or Anthology” for the film version of HAMILTON, that premiered in July 2020 and is available to stream now on Disney+. The role garnered her the Lucille Lortel Award in 2015 for Lead Actress in a Musical during the show’s Off-Broadway, sold-out run at The Public Theater as well as earning her a 2016 Tony Award nomination.
